HOW THE LIST WORKS
Sign up. Check in. Be ready.
Request your spot online.
Ten advance signup spots are planned, including the selected show-prep comic. Your submission is a request, not a confirmed booking.
Look out for your confirmation.
We'll send your status and check-in instructions by email. Show-prep applications are viewed by the host.
Check in and support the room.
The host sets the order. Online priority doesn't guarantee an early slot. Unclaimed spots may go to walk-ins.
Respect the light, staff, audience, and fellow comics. Failed jokes are part of the process. Harassment, personal abuse, and ignoring the host's direction aren't.

BEFORE YOU GRAB THE MIC
A few good questions.
Can I sign up when I get there?
Yes, for a standard set, as capacity allows. Online signups get priority for a spot, but must check in by the time listed in their confirmation. Show-prep applications are online only.
Does signing up guarantee a spot or a specific order?
No. Wait for your signup status by email. The host controls the running order and may adjust it for the room. The ten-minute set can fall anywhere in the lineup.
How long is a standard set?
Three to five minutes, depending on the night's list. The host announces the allotted time before the mic starts.
What if I'm new to comedy?
You're welcome. Bring prepared jokes and speak to the host before your first set. First-timers should avoid crowd work, targeting patrons, graphic sexual descriptions, racial slurs, and degrading racial caricatures. Experienced comics visiting this mic for the first time are not treated as beginner performers.
